We checked out www.Schooltubegames.com today. The children played Add it Up with a partner. To play the game the children find different combinations of numbers that add up to the target number. The more numbers they use in their addition sentence, the more points they can earn. Very fun! We are going to keep track of our high scores on the wiki page.
The children spent time today illustrating a story that was written as a class.The Bunny Who Went to His Uncle’s Wedding was inspired by a story that was read with Miss Haywood. The class version of the story was published and each child is illustrating his or her own copy. We will use some of the illustrations to make an online version of the book. A few of the students wrote questions that are now part of the book’s AR quiz. The children will be able to take the AR test tomorrow.
